January News

The year has started well at PGE HQ. Shame we cannot say the same about the weather. Our teams have been amazing during the past three months whereby we have had 500mm of rainfall. The conditions have not been kind but they have all soldiered on and kept delivering quality schemes for our clients.

Our training schedule has continued as we finished 2019. We have enrolled a further three employees onto the LANTRA Level 2 Diploma in Fencing which has started this month. They will cover 9 units during the training programme and we will enrol further staff onto the programme throughout the year. Our Grounds Maintenance Teams are also having refresher or full training to obtain their PA1 & PA6 licenses to allow them to apply herbicide and pesticides whilst undertaking their daily tasks on our clients sites and with ever changing legislation we feel it is paramount to keep them up to date.

We have been advised that cable strikes have occurred recently on new build sites (luckily none of our sites nor by us) but we have a refresher cause booked in for a weekend to remind our staff of the importance of using a CAT & Genny before breaking ground along with obtaining a permit to dig.

Our Customer Care Teams have been busy bees in January with some fantastic feedback from homeowners and clients. Here is a during and after picture of a front lawn we replaced this month:
