Landscaping & Fencing Team Leader

Package: up to £35,100 DOE, Company Van, Pension & 28 days Holiday

PGE Landscaping Ltd, a leading commercial landscaping and fencing company, is seeking dynamic and experienced team leaders to join our team. As a Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and executing commercial landscaping and fencing projects to the highest standards. If you are a skilled professional with proven leadership abilities and a passion for transforming outdoor spaces while prioritising safety, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of landscaping and fencing professionals to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Oversee the installation of various landscaping & fencing specifications to a wide range of clients
  • Collaborate with clients and PGE’s Contract Manager to plan and organise project timelines, resources, and materials.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards on all projects.
  • Train and mentor team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, addressing concerns and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with subcontractors and suppliers to coordinate project requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in commercial landscaping and fencing projects.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of landscaping and fencing techniques, materials, and equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret project plans and specifications.
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Implement and enforce safe working practices and procedures, identifying and mitigating potential hazards.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to operate landscaping equipment.
  • Relevant certifications and licenses are a plus.

Essentials:

  • 3+ years experience in Fencing and/or Landscaping
  • Driving License
  • CSCS Card (desirable)

Ideally you will have experience in the landscaping/fencing industry, with a positive ‘can do‘ attitude and an ability to work in a professional manner with our clients and other team members. We are willing to offer training and have many trained and experienced staff to help newcomers learn a range of new skills. Successful candidates must be hard working, enjoying outdoor physical work in all weather and seasons. A full, clean driving licence is preferred but not essential.
