You will be working in one of the fastest growing commercial Landscaping, Fencing, Tree Surgery and Grounds Maintenance companies within the UK.  We are looking for a highly motivated person who is highly skilled with computers and wants to learn all aspects of pricing works for commercial builders on some very prestigious projects.

 

In the role you will be working closely with the Estimator to price up new sites sent through from existing and new clients, most of your roles will include, but are not limited to, measuring PDF drawings using our specialist software, working through and helping to decide rates dependent on works and location, and putting together tender packs ready to send off to the client. You may also need to meet clients with the estimator and liaise with them to help make sure we secure the tenders that we have quoted.

You will be working in one of the fastest growing commercial Landscaping, Fencing, Tree Surgery and Grounds Maintenance companies within the UK.  We are looking for an experienced, highly motivated and hungry for salesperson who has extensive people skills, strong computer skills and wants to develop themselves and grow with the business. 

 

In the role you will be working closely with the Sales & Estimating Manager to review new enquiries received from new & existing clients, deciding on how we can best service our clients based on geographical location and type of works. Most of your role will include but not be limited to liaising with clients and ensuring we are offering the services that they want, giving updates on how we progressing with tenders and then converting your tenders to secure the project. You will also be aiding the Sales and Estimating Manager in reviewing rates dependent on aspect of works and location, measuring drawings & putting together tender packs to be submitted to the client.

What the role will involve…

Working as part of a 2 to 3 person team to maintain retirement homes, commercial properties and new build show home gardens

On the job training and development will be provided to you by an experienced Team leader

Essential Skills:

1+ years grounds maintenance experience

Desirable Skills:

Full UK driving license

CSCS Card, Towing, PA1/PA6, Landscaping and/or Fencing Work

The ability to up skill during the off season and help in other landscaping and fencing areas of the business

What we’re looking for…

If you’re experienced at grounds maintenance or landscaping (bonus points for both!) and are hard-working and reliable with a positive attitude, you’d be the perfect fit to join our Alvechurch based team.

You’ll need a full UK driving licence to apply.

 

What the role will involve…

Working along side our Contracts Managers and clients to undertake and supervise the work of your ground’s maintenance team of 1 to 2 operatives.

Working on retirement properties or new build sites,

Use of and supervision of others using a wide range of grounds maintenance machinery.

Ensure works are completed safely, on time and to the customers’ satisfaction

Training and development of other team members

 

Essential Skills:

1+ years grounds maintenance experience

Full UK driving license

Craftsman garden with a good knowledge of plants and pruning times and techniques   

Great communicator with clients and management

 

Desirable Skills:

CSCS Card, Towing, good knowledge and experience of hand held and ride on grounds maintenance equipment, compact tractor, PA1/PA6.

The ability to up skill during the off season and help in other landscaping and fencing areas of the business

Successful candidates must be hard working, enjoying outdoor physical work in all weather and seasons. A full, clean driving licence is preferred but not essential.
